The Egyptian Prosecution: Sherine Abdel Wahab’s lawyer’s report contradicts the testimony of the Mental Health Hospital

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Egyptian Public Prosecution announced that it is investigating the complaint submitted by the singer’s lawyer, Sherine Abdel Wahab, in which he alleged that her brother “attacked” her and that she was admitted to a mental health hospital “by force.”

The Egyptian prosecution said, in a statement, that it “received from the actress’s agent, Sherine Abdel Wahab, a report that her brother and others attacked her inside her residence, and took her to a mental health hospital, to force her into it, following disputes between them, and presented a photo with the medical file number in the name of his client, and the name of the person It was sent to the said hospital.

The statement added that “in light of this communication, the Public Prosecution asked the hospital’s general director and its medical technical director, whose testimonies contradicted what was stated in the content of the communication.”

In its statement, the Public Prosecution added that it “seeks to complete its investigations to elucidate the truth regarding them, and calls upon all to abide by the official statements it declares alone.”

Sherine Abdel Wahab’s brother and her mother claimed in a television intervention, with the media Amr Adib on the “Al-Hekaya” program, that “he admitted his sister to the hospital in order to be treated for drug abuse, and to protect her from her ex-hussam Habib.” The hospital submitted a report stating that she is “sick and needs treatment.”
