The lawsuit filed by the heirs of Ahmed Zaki, before the Egyptian judiciary, against writer Mohamed Tawfiq, who was accused of insulting the late actor in his book “Ahmed Zaki 86”, was rejected.

The heirs of Ahmed Zaki had filed a lawsuit against the author of the book last October. At the time, Mona Zaki told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that she was surprised by some excerpts from the book that talked about the break in the relationship between her mother and her brother, the late actor. She was surprised that the writer did not communicate with her and her family before writing the book.
