Dietitian Alex Caspero, RD, also agreed that cheese can be part of a healthy diet. However, she cautioned that it should be consumed in moderation while including other nutrient-rich foods in your diet.

According to nutritionist Alex Caspero, whether it’s healthy to eat cheese every day depends on the overall context of the diet:

“Saturated fat in the diet should be less than 10% of total calories. If your diet is already high in saturated fat, then adding more cheese is likely to have negative health effects, especially on your cardiovascular health. If the diet is rich in plants and naturally low in saturated fat, then adding a little cheese will be neutral or slightly positive due to the added calcium.”

Nutritionist Newman, in turn, said that eating cheese daily can help prevent osteoporosis. She says this is because cheese is rich in calcium, which is important for bone health.
