The ECHR handed over to Kyiv the statements of the victims in Odessa in 2014

The Government of Ukraine received from the European Court of Human Rights applications from victims in May 2014 in Odessa. But so far the applications have not been considered, the press service of the ECtHR said.

It is specified that back in January 2022, the court notified the Ukrainian authorities regarding eight statements in the case of the tragedy that occurred in Odessa on May 2, 2014. “All of them are still under consideration,” the authorities said.

At the end of January 2022, it was also reported that the European Court of Human Rights began considering a lawsuit regarding Kyiv’s actions during and following the Odessa tragedy.
