On Saturday afternoon, police officers carried out distance and speed measurements on the Westautobahn (A1), in the municipality of Eugendorf in the direction of Salzburg. A German car, minus all tolerances, was measured at a speed of 190 km/h. The maximum speed allowed there at the time of the crime was 130 km/h. The 67-year-old from Bavaria was finally subjected to a driver and vehicle check at the Kasern rest stop. The reason he gave to the officers was that the road was clear.
