For several weeks, the prices of these currencies have shown little movement in the island’s informal market, but that is indicative that they will soon rise again.

In recent days, the informal exchange market has shown general stability, and the beginning of this week reflects the same trend in exchange rates, both in the informal and official markets. But today the price of the dollar in the informal market moves a little, although not enough to change the averages of the aforementioned website.

Price of the dollar, euro and MLC in the informal and official market

The euro and the dollar remain stable, with the former at 330 CUP and the latter at 320 CUP. Meanwhile, the MLC is currently trading at 270 CUP. During this time, both currencies have maintained a stability that has provided a respite to Cubans who depend on them.

However, in the last few hours, there has been a variation in the value of the dollar in the informal market according to the messages from before the closing time of the information, compared to the values ​​of the previous day.

For example, the US currency reached an average value of up to 322.66 pesos in some buying and selling groups on social networks. The highest sale was at 339 pesos per dollar in some groups.

As for official rates, according to the Central Bank, the dollar remains at 120 Cuban pesos for state purchases and the euro at 133 pesos and a few cents.
