The dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences (GREEN), Dr. Eduardo Allub He announced that so far there are 11 graduates in the medical career, and they are still waiting for the completion of the studies of a student, who could finish it next month.
The event itself is a historical event for the province. However, in recent weeks it has been crowned with the entry of several of the new professionals to the vacancies of resident doctors in the different public hospitals of the province.
The doctors received in medicine, studied entirely in the province, already work in the Provincial Child Health Center “Eva Perón” and in the Regional Hospital “Ramón Carrillo”.
“With their degree and registration they can practice wherever they want. And we have the good news that many of them applied to enter the medical residences in the province, and a good number entered. Between 3 and 4 graduates entered Pediatrics; 2 in Surgery; and 1 in Traumatology. For us, this is a very important fact, that the residences are being occupied by the doctors graduated from our Faculty”, expressed the dean.
Also, he highlighted that among the number of daily inquiries they receive in the faculty, about the career, they anticipate that they will exceed 400 pre-registered every year.
