The DNCG placed OM under constraint at mid-season of the 2023-2024 financial year.

New club visits to the National Directorate of Control and Management (DNCG) and new verdicts rendered by the financial policeman of French football. After OL, AS Monaco, ESTAC, Valenciennes and Nancy the day before, this Wednesday was thehe tour of Olympique de Marseille, Le Havre and OGC Nice in Ligue 1, plus Paris FCin Ligue 2.

Nothing once morest Le Havre, OGCN and Paris FC

If the promoted, Le Havre and the current runner-up of PSG in the championship, OGC Nice passed the exam without incident, as did the resident of Ligue 2, Paris FC, for which it was decided that no measure is taken once morest the club by the DNCG, this is not the case for OM which is placed under constraint by the financial authority of the Professional Football League.

The OM payroll under the supervision of the DNCG

Against the Marseille club, it decided to “control the payroll within the revised budget presented by the club”, which undermines the scope of possibility for OM, in the context of the upcoming winter transfer window. This is not the first time, in the recent past, that the club has had to face this type of sanction, but in the annual context of a sportingly mixed start to the season, it is not a good indicator for the Marseille club.
