It seems that some stores have holes in them like a sieve. Now Ubisoft has slipped out another one and it’s regarding the Division spin-off The Division: Heartland.
In fact, the Ubisoft Store itself was once once more the source of the current leaks, because there was an entry for Tom Clancy’s The Division: Heartland for a short time. The entry has since been deleted, but as is so often the case, attentive users were quicker, so the information is now making the rounds.
Let’s remember: The Division: Heartland is a free-to-play spin-off of the two The Division titles that was announced a while ago. There is no specific date for the game yet, but at least the “coming soon” in the store entry gave hope for an early release. It may even be announced on September 10th during the next Ubisoft Forward Livestream, who knows.
The description doesn’t tell us much new: “Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland is a free-to-play survival action multiplayer shooter set in a small town in Central America”.
Apparently, the game will have two game modes. Storm Operations is apparently a PvPvE mode for up to 45 players, in which you face off once morest rogue agents known as Vultures, but you also have to deal with a deadly virus. Excursion Operations, on the other hand, seems to send you on PvE missions in which you collect equipment, activate alarms and prepare the battlefield, whatever that is supposed to mean in the end.
According to the entry, you take on the role of one of six agents from three different classes, each with their own skills and perks.
