The Director of Public Health in the Gulf Council answers • Al Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: The Director of Public Health in the Gulf Health Council, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ammar, responded to those who say, “Corona will end within days.”

Al-Ammar said during his arrival as a guest on the Ya Hala program, that Omicron is less severe than the rest of the Corona virus mutant, and the cases infected with it do not require hypnosis or intensive care.

He continued: “It is expected, according to what is currently in place, that we are heading towards the best, but the reality and scientific perception cannot specify a time period for the end of the Corona virus, and there is no person able to specify a time period to eliminate the pandemic.”

He added, “The indicator of the increase in cases and things are stable, indicates that we are in a safe situation, and the return of education indicates that we are on the right path, especially since we are at a time of virus activity during the winter season.”

Al-Ammar concluded his statements: “Although Omicron’s symptoms are less severe than the rest of the mutant, it leaves unvaccinated people more susceptible to complications and deaths, but it is very mild for the vaccinated.”

Professor Ghada Al-Mutairi had predicted, through a tweet on her Twitter, that the Corona pandemic would end within a month.
