In a decision they described as surprising, leaders at King Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital in Taif told “Okaz” that the administration relieved them of their positions, which caused confusion at work, especially since no new assignment decisions have been issued so far, and according to what was stated in the decision (Okaz reviewed (on a copy thereof) the deputies and the assistants shall undertake the work.
The director of the King Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital, Dr. Khaled Al-Sharif, had exempted 7 of the leaders, and “Okaz” tried to contact him to comment on the decision, but he did not answer, at a time when sources inside the hospital indicated that the exempted leaders are mostly young people, and they contributed greatly to the development of work in their administrations. Some of them described the decision as “blundering”, because they reached their positions with the testimony of health affairs, which greatly praised their work.
According to the speakers, they were not discussed in the unjustified decision and no replacements were assigned to them, and that many hospital staff are considering leaving their duties because of what they called confusion and collective exemptions under the pretext of rotation, improving performance and improving service. They added that among those who were dismissed were leaders who were recently honored by the ministry, once morest the background of the facility receiving the performance award in combating Corona at the Kingdom level. They pointed out that the administration that relieved them of their positions assigned them the tasks of other departments, which refutes the hypothesis of their lack of performance. The seven exempted persons are calling on the Ministry of Health and Taif Health to investigate the matter.
On the other hand, the spokesman for Taif Health, Siraj Al-Humaidan, explained that changes are natural things in the administrative process, and among these changes is the change of leaders, which is considered a positive matter and allows some young leaders to provide what they have and benefit from human energies at all administrative levels. Al-Humaidan added: The deputies were assigned to carry out workflow tasks until the issuance of the new costs, which we hope will contribute to the development of administrative and technical work in the hospital.
