Kochi > Director Zakir Mathil said in a press conference that he is worried whether the Malayalam film Jailer, which was shot at a cost of five crore rupees, will be released. It is slated to release on August 10. The news is that Rajinikanth starrer Tamil movie Jailer will also release on that day. Tamil filmmakers were informed through legal notice that he was the first to register the name Jailer. It was registered with the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce on 13th August 2021 and completed all the procedures. A year later, Rajinikanth’s film was registered with the South Film Chamber under the same name. Rajinikanth’s Sun Pictures is demanding to change the title of his film despite first registering it. Dhyan Srinivasan is the hero in his film. Manoj K Jayan, Unniraja, Binu Adimali and others are acting. He said that if the film might not be released, it would be in dire financial straits.
