The detention of the accused of participating in the murder of the journalist Shaima Gamal was renewed for 15 days

The opposition judge at the Giza Court renewed the detention of the co-accused in the murder of Shaima Gamal for 15 days, pending investigations conducted by the Public Prosecution.

For its part, the security services presented the main suspect in the incident with the murder of his media wife, Shaima Gamal, to the investigation authorities to interrogate him regarding what is attributed to him.

And the Public Prosecution announced that it was conducting investigations into the murder of Shaima Gamal, where the Public Prosecution had received a report from a member of one of the judicial authorities regarding the absence of the victim’s wife, who works as a media person for a satellite channel, following her disappearance from a shopping mall in the October area without accusing anyone of causing it. The Public Prosecution investigated the investigations, as it listened to the testimony of some of the victim’s relatives who witnessed her disappearance following she was accompanied by her husband in front of the aforementioned commercial complex. Evidence appeared in the investigations questioning the validity of his report.

In this regard, and for the victim’s husband’s membership in one of the judicial authorities, the Public Prosecution obtained permission from that authority to take investigation measures once morest him regarding the incident in which the accused is accused, and accordingly, the Public Prosecution ordered his arrest and summons, and followed his path.

During the investigations, the second accused surrendered the same incident and revealed that the journalist Shaima Jamal was killed by her husband and that he witnessed the killing. The Public Prosecution Office was accompanied by the forensic doctor, who confessed that the person who had guided the place had participated in the crime.
