The detailed note on the application of the salary policy with regard to special statuses, one of the points analyzed

Under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Burundi Evariste Ndayishimiye, the Council of Ministers met on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at the Gitega Palace. The day’s program included, among other items, the Detailed Note on the implementation of the Salary Policy vis-à-vis special statuses and the Draft Decree determining the priority sectors for the national economy.

Other projects were also analyzed by the ministers during these meetings. Three bills relating to the Ministry of National Defense and Veterans Affairs were cited for analysis. These are the Bill on the status of officers of the National Defense Force of Burundi, the Bill on the status of non-commissioned officers of the National Defense Force of Burundi and the Bill on the status of non-commissioned soldiers. of the Burundi National Defense Force. The ministers also analyzed the draft decree revising decree n°100/15 of January 23, 1987 creating a General Inspectorate of Justice. This project was presented by the Minister of Justice Domine Banyankimbona. The Minister of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning Domitian, meanwhile, presented the Draft Decree determining the priority sectors for the national economy. Two other projects, namely the draft convention for the industrial exploitation of peat on the Kashiru perimeter, Mugongomanga Commune, Bujumbura province between the State of Burundi and the company Trade Investment Partnership Company and General Trading (TIPC) and the ministerial order granting the permit for the industrial exploitation of peat in the Kashiru perimeter in favor of the company TIPC were presented by the Minister of Hydraulics, Energy and Mines Ibrahim Uwizeye. In turn, the Minister of Public Service, Labor and Employment Thaddée Ndikumana presented the Detailed Note on the implementation of the Salary Policy vis-à-vis special statuses.
