Oppo in France is over, but the brand continues to work on its flagships for the rest of the world. She has just revealed the design of her very promising Oppo Find X7 Ultra.
If Samsung and Apple do not seem ready to shake up the design of their flagships, Oppo will stick to it. The manufacturer revealed on its networks in China the design of its next high-end product, the Oppo Find X7 and the Find X7 Ultra. Without revolution, these new smartphones have a very nice look, which unfortunately we will not find in France.
As a reminder, Oppo France announced its cessation of activity in July, after months of rumors and testimonies. Since the brand’s presence in France, the service has been minimal and its products have disappeared from the shelves. It therefore seems unlikely to see the Oppo Find X7 arrive in our region.
Two periscopes and a two-tone design
In the images published by Oppo, we discover a smartphone with a curved, edge-to-edge screen, quite classic for this range of products. The front camera is placed at the top of the front screen. The differentiation is mainly made at the back where the brand has opted for a two-tone design with a chassis that we imagine to be made of metal for the upper part, and a leather effect for the lower part.
What perhaps combines the solidity of the metal at the level of the very imposing circular photo module, which is reminiscent of the Lumia 1020 range of yesteryear, and the comfort of a leather effect covering for the grip.
In terms of specifications, the Oppo China site informs us that the phone would be offered with 256, 512 or 1 TB of GB, and 12 to 16 GB of RAM. We imagine that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will naturally find its place as a SoC.
We do not yet know the characteristics of the camera on the back, but we can distinguish two rectangular lenses in the images, characteristic of periscopic lenses. This is the first time to our knowledge that a smartphone has offered this technical choice.
