Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Saudi artist Fahd Al-Hayyan passed away, Monday, at the age of 52, according to the official Saudi “Al-Ikhbariya” channel. Saudi media reported that the cause of death was “heart attack,” and many Saudis mourned him on Twitter.
The late began his artistic career in the early nineties of the last century, and the Saudi and Arab audiences knew him through the famous “Tash Ma Tash” comedy series.
After fame, Fahd Al-Hayyan entered the world of television production, to present 6 seasons of the comedy series “Ghashsham”, as a hero, producer, and writing supervisor, in parallel with presenting other works.
The late decided to retire, then retreated, but his artistic output seemed significantly less, during the last years of his life, and he explained this in media appearances, according to different production mechanisms, with the spread of social media platforms.
The late artist Fahd Al-Hayyan was scheduled to participate in the latest parts of “Tash.. Al-Awda”, which was shown during the Ramadan 2023 drama season, but he apologized for the number of episodes presented to him, and explained this in video clips he posted on his official account on Instagram.
