The departure of the artist, “Faik Erksousi”, and his daughter, “Nour”, mourns him

The Syrian Artists Syndicate, affiliated with the regime, mourned the death of the Syrian artist, Faeq Irksousi, who died today, Sunday, April 9, at the age of 68.

The artist, Nour Arksousi, inherited her father by posting on Facebook a picture of her father with her mother, and commented, “Gather the beloved ones.. Thank you for knowing each other and loving each other, and you brought me the most precious brothers in this world. Praise be to God for everything.”

And Iraksoussi continued, “My father, my friend, my brother, and my companion in this life are under the protection of God..I wish all the daughters had a father who owned you..I wish all the daughters had a father who was Faiq Irksoussi.”

The late artist was born in the Al-Shaghour neighborhood in Damascus in 1954, and he performed many artistic roles, including Killing the Spring, Leaving to the Other Side, Spotlight, Snake Skin, The Time of the Flea, and others.
