The reaction of the leaders of the ruling party Muslim League (N) is coming out following the Supreme Court decision in a case related to specific seats. Rana Sanaullah says that today’s decision of the Supreme Court is beyond comprehension, justice should be seen. Prime Minister of Law Nazir Tarar said that the decision of the Supreme Court on specific seats is a matter of choice.
While giving a press conference in Islamabad, Rana Sanaullah says that today’s decision is beyond comprehension, justice should not only be done, it should also be visible.
He said that court decisions should be common sense, today justice has been given without asking for it, even decisions are not in the interest of the nation.
He said that some people contested the elections as independent candidates, following being elected the independent candidate had to join the political party within 3 days, the independent candidates joined the Sunni Ittehad Council.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court of Pakistan has declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf entitled to specific seats in the national and provincial assemblies.
