Outstanding player Leroy Sane, score: 7
Reminded of his beautiful days, a tremendous penalty squeeze, the disappointing player David Raya, score: 5
A bad and unnecessary start in the first goal, jumped early in the penalty and maybe might have done more
There are games that only the Champions League can provide us, and the classics every year do not end every time. Tonight (Tuesday) the quarter-finals of the top factory in Europe opened with Arsenal and Bayern Munich, who played a great game and finished 2:2, when the decision will go to the return leg, in Germany.
If we refer to the local leagues of the two teams, then they came to tonight’s game with opposite trends, with the Gunners on the one hand in first place in England, while on the other hand the Bavarians are experiencing their worst season in recent years and will probably lose the championship.
However, a different factory, a different Bayern. Thomas Tuchel’s men did not start the game well, but as the minutes went on – they showed us a different character from what they present in the league, and in fact why Bayern Munich is one of the biggest teams in the world.

The game opened with tremendous pressure from the hosts, with the Alex Reed losing a lot of balls, but this happened due to Arteta’s apprentices. Already in the 12th minute, Bokayo Saka received a ball following a great interception, took control of it and expertly kicked with his left foot straight into the corner, when Manuel Neuer had no chance.
The stormy opening of the game continued, it took only six minutes to equalize – the Bayern defense cleared a ball, David Raya in a puzzling decision went out of the goal, the Arsenal defense was pressed, lost the ball to Leroy Sane, who handed it to Leon Goretzka, who left Serge Gnabry one on one, who did not get confused and a lamb.
The gunners continued to press and even threatened and were more dangerous, but in the 32nd minute the great turnaround was completed. Leroy Sane raced all the way, squeezed a tremendous penalty, which was approached by Harry Kane, who did not get confused and kicked to the right corner. David Raya by the way, Zina to the left corner, maybe even earlier than it should have been.
The pace of the game weakened a little and both teams did not get particularly big opportunities, when the two coaches made substitutions – with Arteta emerging as the greatest of the two. In the 66th minute Andrew Trusser and Gabriel Jesus entered and 10 minutes later they rewarded their coach. The Brazilian performed a tremendous personal action and brought down the Belgian, who didn’t get confused, forcing a tie, with the decision taking place in a week, on Wednesday, 4/17. By the way, before the end, Saka claimed a penalty when his leg hit Neuer’s leg, but the referee ignored it and whistled for the end.

Until the second game in a week, Arsenal will have to think regarding the three-way battle in the league and they have a game on Sunday once morest Aston Villa, while on the other hand Bayern Munich know that their championship race is over and they will meet Cologne on Saturday, so the Bavarians also have one more day of rest than their rival.
