The Syrian Ministry of Culture mourned the late, pointing out that he was born in Aleppo in 1956, and has professionally written lyric poetry since 1985.

In the Arab world, he wrote for Najwa Karam, Walid Tawfiq, Assi Al-Hillani, Nawal Al-Zoghbi, Fella Al-Jazaeryia, Latifa Al-Tunisi and others.
