The death of the Omani actress Shamaa Muhammad

The Omani artist, Shamaa Muhammad, died at the age of 64 in Saudi Arabia, where she was filming one of her dramatic works, according to Arab websites.

There is no woman who does not carry the light on her shoulders for an entire city, on International Women’s Day.”

The artist, Shamaa Muhammad, was born in Kuwait in 1958. She received her education between Kuwait and Bahrain. The artist moved to the Sultanate of Oman in the mid-seventies of the last century, and worked in the government sector, specifically in the Ministry of Education, from which she once more set out to the world of acting by submitting a work to the ministry on eradicating illiteracy. This work will be a new beginning for the late artist in the art world.

Shamaa started her artistic career since the end of the seventies, as she participated in many radio, television and theatrical works in the Sultanate. Shamaa has participated in several theatrical performances, including the play “Fear”, the play “The Float” and the play “The Dowry”.
