The death of the Lebanese artist, Jorh Al-Rassi, in a traffic accident. The pictures are “horrific”

Today, Saturday, the Lebanese artist, George Al-Rassi, died in a terrible traffic accident on an international road in the Bekaa region, east of Lebanon, on the border with Syria.

According to the information transmitted, George Al-Rassi “slept” while driving across the Syrian border, which led to him hitting a large wall on a highway at the factory, and his death instantly, along with the young woman who was with him.

Immediately, the security forces came to the scene and opened an investigation to find out the circumstances.

The civil defense teams also came from the factory center, and worked to pull Al-Rassi and the young woman from the car and transported them to Taanayel General Hospital, and it was reported that they died as a result of the horrific accident.

On Saturday morning, the General Directorate of Civil Defense reported on Twitter that two people were killed when their car collided in the cement separator at the Masnaa border point – Bekaa.

In its tweet, the Lebanese Civil Defense did not specify the identity of the two victims, noting that its members used “hydraulic rescue equipment” due to “the car’s structure was severely damaged as a result of the force of the accident.”

The official Lebanese National News Agency stated that Al-Rassi, 39, “died after his car crashed into a median barrier in the Masnaa locality, at the point separating the Lebanese and Syrian borders, while he was coming from the Syrian border.”

The young singer has several albums to his credit since his launch in the mid-nineties, and many songs in different dialects, especially Lebanese and Egyptian, some of which have become widespread in Arab countries.

Al-Rassi drew the attention of the audience and music critics, especially due to the similarity of his voice with the tone of the famous Syrian singer George Wassouf.

During his career, Al-Rassi, who hails from northern Lebanon, collaborated with well-known names in the field of music composition and Arabic lyrical poetry in the past two decades.

His name was also circulated in the Arab artistic press against the background of his personal life, including news of his divorce or the ups and downs of his relationship with his sister, Lebanese actress Nadine Al Rassi.
The news of his death caused grief through social networks, as many users, especially on Twitter, expressed their regret over the death of the young singer at an early age.
