He left our world in the early hours of Monday morning, the Egyptian lyricist Nasser Al-Gil, following a sudden heart attack, at the age of 48, according to Al Arabiya.
And the poet’s official page announced the news of his death with a post in which he wrote the following: “I belong to God and to Him we shall return… Mr. Nasser Al-Jil has passed away to the mercy of God Almighty, and the funeral will be held this followingnoon in the Faisal district of Giza Governorate.. and I do not see you hated by God in your dear ones.”
The lyric poet Bahaa El-Din Muhammad mentioned that his late colleague was under great nervous pressure during the recent period, as he mourned him on his Facebook page by saying: “The respected poet and artist, Nasser Al-Jil, may God have mercy on him, forgive him, and pardon him, and this is the end of psychological and nervous pressure.” .
Producer Hani Mahrous also wrote on his page on the social networking site “Facebook”: “My heart ached for you, my friend, a thousand mercy and light upon you, Nasser Al-Jil.”
