Al-Marsad newspaper: Today, Saturday, the camel shepherd Shoma Al-Enezi died following suffering from illness due to infection with the Corona virus.
Nawaf Al-Enezi, a relative of the late, published the news of her death through his Twitter account, saying: “I moved to the mercy of God Almighty, God Shomah Al-Enezi, whose meaning is with the disease, may God dwell in her vast gardens, pray for her with mercy. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”
Nawaf had revealed that Shoma Al-Enezi needed to be transferred to a hospital in Riyadh, pointing out that all hospitals rejected her case.
While Noura Al-Anazi, Shuma’s daughter, had published, since the beginning of this month, a series of tweets in which she prayed for her mother to recover, explaining that her mother had contracted the new “Corona” virus (Covid-19).
Shoma Al-Enezi, who is in her nineties, became famous for choosing the desert life thirty years ago to take care of her camels, following the death of her husband and her having to take on the responsibility of providing for her children.
