The death of the artist Muhammad Ghobashi at the age of 70

Egyptian artist Mohamed Ghobashi died, on Sunday, as a result of a heart attack, at the age of 70, after a struggle with illness. A state of sadness prevailed over the departure of the late artist, and his friends and lovers mourned him on social media networks, and his condolences are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, At the headquarters of the Arab Cultural Club in Sharjah.

The management of the Sharm El-Sheikh International Festival for Youth Theater, headed by the artist and director Mazen Al-Gharabawi, mourned the artist Mohamed Ghobashi, who passed away from our world, as the statement came: “With great sadness and sorrow, we mourn the distinguished artist Mohamed Ghobashi, who presented a great artistic career through a long history of creativity, and the festival management extends its sincere thanks.” Condolences to his honorable family.”

The late Ghobashi is a director and actor. He obtained a diploma in directing and acting from the Institute of Fine Arts in Jordan. He contributed to establishing a number of theater groups in Jordan, where he participated in founding the Hakaya Children’s Theater Troupe and the Jordanian Free Theater Troupe. He is also a founding member of the Mawal Theater Laboratory in Jordan.

The deceased worked for Sharjah TV as a programmer and presenter since 2004, and he acted and directed many theatrical works in Egypt, Jordan and the Emirates. He also acted in many television and radio works, and his works include the series “Bullet of Mercy” and the “Brothers of the Earth” series, and he recently participated in two series last year, namely Broadcasts, and Bou Hzain.
