Representative Eng. Ibtisam Ibrahim Abu Rehab, a member of the House of Representatives Housing Committee, passed away a while ago, inside a hospital in Cairo.
It is noteworthy that the late MP was a member of the House of Representatives, from the New Valley Governorate, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Assiut University, where she began public life as a member of the Assiut University Student Union.
Ibtisam Abu Rehab held the position of head of the branch of the National Council for Women in the governorate since 2000 and for 7 consecutive years until 2007. She was also elected financial president of the Arab World Federation of the International Planned Parenthood Federation in 2007, which includes 180 Arab and foreign countries.
She chaired the board of directors of several civil associations “4 associations” in the field of public service, especially women, for a period of 15 years.
