Actress Christina Sawaya hoped that the New Year’s holidays would bring all goodness and blessings to the whole world, especially following the difficult stage that various countries went through.
Sawaya expressed her happiness with the festive season, noting that she always buys gifts for all her family members, and chooses the things they need.
Christina Sawaya indicated that she is one of the people who wait for Santa Claus annually, considering that the gift is with its meanings and not its material value.
She added, “I would love to have someone give me a gift because I need it, and today I need to change my car. I would love to get a Maserati, Lamborghini, or any luxury car. But I will not be able to use it daily, given the situation in Lebanon, in light of the high cost of fuel and the lack of private parking spaces to park it.”
In her speech, she touched on the money she lost in the Lebanese banks, stressing that the fatigue of 20 years was in vain, especially since all that she gained was from her own fatigue and effort.
The Lebanese artist revealed that throughout her artistic career, she might only save regarding a million dollars, and lost the value of the amount in a project she invested in, and the remaining amount disappeared with the money of depositors in Lebanese banks.
It is worth noting that the artist, Christina Sawaya, in celebration of the festive season, revived a Christmas recital titled “His star shone … so peace appeared”, and it was organized by the Phalangist regions of Jbeil and Keserwan Al-Futuh.
