Maybe you remember The days gone by, an open-world action survival game developed by Bend Studios. She was recently praised by a former Xbox and Blizzard executive. The same person who, a few weeks ago, praised The Last of Us: Part 1 and called on Naughty Dog to carry the second part. He did the same thing with Horizon Forbidden Westwhile welcoming PlayStation’s strategy in terms of releasing games on PC.

Mike Ibarra in his microblog in X wrotethat Days Gone deserves at least 85 points. According to Mike, the creators of the game managed to perfectly create a wild environment, convey the whole atmosphere of brotherhood, and the general tone of the game does not leave anyone indifferent. In conclusion, Mike fully recommended buying the game. In the comments of the post, many people wrote that they also thought Days Gone was a great game.

In my opinion, it’s an 85-88 point game. It does not deserve a low rating, as stated in the reviews. They captured the wild setting, brotherhood and overall tone very well. It’s on Steam – buy it if you haven’t already, it’s worth it.

The former Blizzard boss is referring to the ratings the game received upon release. The PS4 version currently has an average score of 71 on Metacritic. The PC version received 76 points. This is in stark contrast to what PC gamers think. Days Gone has 92% positive reviews on Steam and 4.6 out of 5 stars on the PS Store.

Bend Studio released the post-apocalyptic Days Gone in 2019, but the game’s fate hasn’t been the best. Then the reviews appreciated the project only has 70 points, while usually Sony games get at least 80. Perhaps because of this, we will never see a sequel, despite the fact that at some point the Players even created a petition calling for a sequel to be released. Moreover, the petition has already collected more than 200,000 signatures.
