Guatemala Sub 20: The date on which they will meet their rivals in the Pre-World Cup

Concacaf announced that the official draw for the Mexico Under 20 World Cup will take place on Thursday, April 11 at its headquarters in Miami, Florida, United States.
Guatemala is one of the 12 under 20 national teams qualified for the tournament in which they will not only compete to crown the regional champion, but will also be at stake four direct tickets to the 2025 World Cup.
According to the details shared by Concacaf, Pot 1 and 2 are made up of the six teams that were already pre-classified: the United States, Honduras, Mexico in pot one and Panama, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic in pot two.
Guatemala was placed in Pot 3 ahead of the April 11 draw. Those accompanying the bicolor are El Salvador and Cuba. While Pot 4 is made up of Jamaica, Haiti and Canada.
The bicolor secured its presence in the World Cup following beating Curacao at the Doroteo Guamuch Flores on March 2 in the Concacaf qualifying tournament.
The World Cup will be played from July 19 to August 4, 2024 and the chosen cities by the Confederation of North American, Central American and Caribbean Soccer to host the tournament that will qualify for the 2025 World Cup They are the Mexicans Celaya and Irapuato in the Guanajuato stadium, Mexico.
Each team will play a total of three games, the first two places in each group and the two best third places will advance to the quarterfinals. The teams that manage to reach the semifinals ensure their participation in the 2025 Under-20 World Cup.
The 25 games of the competition will be divided into two venues: the Sergio León Chávez Stadium in Irapuato and the Miguel Alemán Valdés Stadium in Celaya.

- Pot 2 (the three worst-ranked teams): Panama, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic
- Pot 3 (the three best-ranked teams): Guatemala, El Salvador, Cuba
- Pot 4 (the three worst-ranked teams): Jamaica, Haiti, Canada.
Starting with Pot 1, teams will be placed in Groups A, B and C according to the order in which they are drawn, with no more than one team from each pot per group.
