On Sunday, the Egyptian Football Association announced the start of the new season of the Egyptian League on October 16, with the participation of 18 clubs. The registration of players began on the first of September, and each club is allowed to register 30 players in its list, including a maximum of 5 foreign players, in addition to 3 on the waiting list until next January.
And the Football Association had issued a statement specifying many points between them, “No club may buy players except within the limits of its budget presented in the licensing file.”
The Egyptian Federation also banned the transfer of the coach between several clubs, stressing that “the coach contracted with a club will not be allowed to assume the responsibility of another club if the contract is terminated by him.”
