STRANGER THINGS SEASON 4. Season 4 of Stranger Things finally has a release date. This will be released on Netflix in two parts.

Netflix has announced on its social networks that season 4 of the science fiction series will be posted on its platform in two parts: the first volume will be available on May 27, 2022, the second from July 1. For now, we do not know how many episodes will include this last season.

As a reminder, at the end of Stranger Things season 3, all the characters leave the small town to live in the four corners of the United States. But obviously, the evil of the Upside Down intends to pursue them in season 4… The announcement of the release was accompanied by the publication of a first official visual which allows us to find all our characters ( including Hopper, left for dead at the end of season 3) converge on the same goal.

After a long mystery surrounding the plot of Season 4 of Stranger Things, Netflix unveiled an official synopsis in a press release: “Six months have passed since the Battle of Starcourt which struck terror and desolation over Hawkins. Again Staggering, our friends find themselves separated for the first time – and high school life isn’t helping.It’s in this moment of vulnerability that a new supernatural threat appears and, with it, a terrible mystery that may hold the key. to end the horrors of the Upside Down.”

The date for season 4 of Stranger Things has been made official following three years of waiting for fans. The episodes will be divided into two volumes: the first will be posted on Netflix on May 27, 2022. The second round of episodes will be available on the Netflix platform. streaming from July 1, 2022.

On May 6, 2021, Netflix released a teaser for Season 4 of Stranger Things. It seems that we are immersed in the past, and more particularly that of Eleven. These new images reveal the laboratory in which the character played by Millie Bobby Brown lived for many years. Eight months following the broadcast of season 3 of Stranger Things, Netflix unveils a very first excerpt from season 4, which is already highly anticipated. And following a cliffhanger surrounding the demise of Hopper’s character, the subscription streaming giant was obviously too eager to confirm that Hawkins’ sheriff was indeed alive and well. As confirmed by the video extract below, Hopper (played by David Harbour) was actually teleported to Russia where we find him here in the middle of a forced labor session.

At the end of season 3 of Stranger Things, following closing the portal to the Upside Down (or Upside Down for Anglophiles), Jim Hopper disappears, which leads us to believe that the character is dead. But as we well know, a character is never really dead if we haven’t buried him. And the last sequence of the last episode of Stranger Things season 3 let us think that the “American” to whom the Russian jailers refer was none other than Sheriff Hopper. This is now confirmed by this extract published by Netflix which answers the question that has been on everyone’s lips for months. No more the trouble of getting into theories!

New characters will come to enliven the plot of season 4 of Stranger Things. These were announced in November 2020 by Netflix. Among the newcomers, we find the actor Jamie Campbell Bower (Twilight, Harry Potter, Sweeney Todd) who will play a nurse in a psychiatric hospital, Peter Ballard. The actor Robert Englund (The Claws of the Night) will play a man interned in this psychiatric hospital following having committed a murder thirty years earlier. Tom Wlaschiha (Game of Thrones) will be a Russian prison guard, Edward Frank will be Jonathan’s new friend. Mason Dye (Harry Bosch) will play Jason, the new popular high school boy, opposite Joseph Quinnpresident of a club. Sherman Augustus will play a man obsessed with the idea of ​​eradicating evil, while Nikola Djuricko will be a Russian smuggler.

The announcement of the release date for season 4 of Stranger Things was accompanied by the formalization of season 5. But, bad news for fans of the SF series, Netflix has confirmed that it will be the last : “As you will soon discover, the grand finale is approaching. Season 4 will be the penultimate and season 5, the last” confirmed the creators, Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, in a letter shared on social networks from Netflix.
