The Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa announced that the stand of Arafat 9 Dhu al-Hijjah 1443 falls on Friday, July 8, 2022, and the first day of Eid al-Adha will be on Saturday, July 9, 2022, which corresponds to the 10 of Dhu al-Hijjah 1443, and the days of Eid continue Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from July 9, 2022 until 12 July 2022.
Citizens are looking for the number of days of the Eid al-Adha holiday that workers in the government, public and private sectors will receive.
It is scheduled that the Eid al-Adha holiday this year will extend to 5 days for government and public workers, and 3 days for workers in the private sector, starting on Friday, July 8, as a pause on the Day of Arafa and the weekly holiday.
Eid Al-Adha comes on Saturday, July 9, 2022, and the days of Eid will be 4 days (Saturday 9, Sunday 10, Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 July), for workers in the government and public sectors.
As for the Eid al-Adha holiday for workers in the private sector, it will be calculated following the issuance of a decision by the Prime Minister, and its implementation will be supervised by the Ministry of Manpower, the competent authority in private sector establishments, but the basis for it will be Friday, the pause of Arafat, July 8, and the first and second days of Eid.
According to the astronomical calculations for the date of Eid al-Adha, the day of Arafa will be Friday July 8, 2022, corresponding to the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1443, and the days off for workers will be on the blessed Eid al-Adha, whose date has been set astronomically from July 8 to 12, 2022.
