The annual general meeting of the Association Dans l’Aire de Fontanes was held on Thursday December 7, bringing together more than half of its members. The moral report as well as the financial report were presented and obtained the unanimous approval of the members present.
Thanks were sent to the volunteers without whom the events might not take place but also to partners such as the town hall for making the room available, the Department for awarding a grant, Irène Tolleret, Renew MEP for the covering buffet costs and Château La Roque for making its lounges available and covering drinks costs.
The program of events for 2024 promises to be rich and varied. The association begins the year with a Sauerkraut Evening on Friday February 24, followed by a Crêpes Afternoon on Saturday March 23, for the pleasure of gourmets. Lovers of beautiful mechanics will meet on Saturday June 2 for an Exhibition of beautiful cars. Conviviality will be in the spotlight on Saturday June 29 during the Village Festival. Saturday September 22, the traditional garage sale promises great finds. Finally, the year will end with the Autumn Festival on Saturday November 9. Two hikes are also planned, one in spring and the other in autumn, for nature lovers.
