Pierre-Emile Hoiberg’s future lies away from Tottenham Hotspur. The Danish midfielder’s contract expires in 2025 and he is being favored by a number of clubs, with a move away this summer looking increasingly likely.
According to Sky Germany, Dortmund are interested in Hoiberg’s profile. The Germans are looking for reinforcements in their midfield and view Hojbjerg as a quality replacement for their main target Brighton’s Pascal Groh. Dortmund might turn to the Dane if talks with Brighton fail.
Atletico Madrid are the favorites to secure Hojbjerg’s services and are still in the race. The player’s agent Luca Puccinelli recently confirmed the Colchoneros’ interest, while Hojberg has made no secret of his desire to join the ambitious club. AC Milan are also interested in Hojbjerg, but the Rossoneri seem reluctant to pay Tottenham Hotspur’s asking price.
