Al-Marsad Newspaper: Researcher in carcinogens, Dr. Fahd Al-Khudairi, revealed the harms of excessive intake of nutritional supplements without consulting a doctor.

Al-Khudairi added during an interview on “Al-Arabiya Al-Saudi” channel: “A pregnant woman considers two people, the mother and the fetus, and the pregnant woman does not exceed two grams of vitamins per day, out of his love for her and his love for the fetus.”

And he continued: “The Swedish study on the relationship of taking vitamins and cancer does not concern ordinary people, but rather people with cancer, or susceptible to infection, so they must adhere to the treatment plan, and consult a doctor when purchasing these medicines.”

He added: “Using nutritional supplements in excess harms the kidneys, harms the liver, harms the physiological processes in the body, and exhausts the kidneys and liver.”

And he concluded: “Some of the supplements that we buy without referring to the doctor turn into toxins inside the body, and the liver works to treat these toxins, so the liver gets tired, its enzymes rise, and the kidneys try to get rid of them and expel them with urine, so the kidneys become exhausted, and if something exceeds its limit, it turns once morest it.”
