Today, CD Projekt released its financial report for 2021. This data includes information on sales of Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher franchise, and some future projects. The previously announced expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 will be released next year. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered Edition has also been pushed back from Q2 to an unknown date.
The earnings report also revealed that the company has sold over 18 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077, and has spent most of 2021 improving the game, with a total of eight major updates coming in. updated, stabilized and tweaked the game and finished the current generation console editions in February.

Last month, the company revealed that a new game in The Witcher franchise (which has sold over 65 million copies across all platforms, including 40 million for The Witcher 3) was in development, alongside a long-term agreement with Epic Games to develop and publish future titles with Unreal Engine 5. The new title The Witcher will be made with UE5, but the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 expansion is not covered by this agreement.
