The Pampaion Tournament held at Promitheas Park during Easter week, as part of the Promitheas Park Tournaments “Andreas Meligdis”, was crowned with complete success. Teams from all over Greece were present and offered a very beautiful spectacle to the sports fans, in a four-day full of basketball, which has now become an institution at the Prometheus courts, since this was the third consecutive season of the “Andreas Meligdis” tournaments, which are constantly renewed and innovate.
It is worth noting that on the sidelines of the Tournament, a very interesting event was also held, under the auspices of “Child’s Smile“, where the short film “The thoughts of Nefelis” was shown on the subject of school bullying, while followingwards the children had the opportunity to interact with the experts, discussing the phenomenon of bullying, reporting their opinions or experiences. In this way, for another year, the young athletes who participated in the tournament had the opportunity to show off their basketball skills, to be informed, to listen and to raise awareness of a very important social issue that plagues everyday life. in schools, through the Corporate Social Responsibility program of the Organization of Prometheus of Patras, Good Athlete Better Person.
