Baghdad / Obelisk: On Sunday, January 15, 2023, the Federal Integrity Commission issued a summons order against the director of the office of the current Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Duair, on charges of embezzlement of 150 billion dinars.
According to a document issued by the Commission’s Investigation Department on December 12 of last year, it stated that “the Rusafa Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues in Baghdad Governorate, on 12/7/2022, decided to inform your legal representative to come to the directorate’s headquarters, to write down his statements on the issue of violations Attributed to the so-called Ammar Duair / former administrative director of the Baghdad Water Department, for wasting sums amounting to more than 150 billion dinars on projects related to the department, nose, so that we can take the necessary action.
