“The current government is a government of opportunists, all the deputies are seen applauding the project, one thing is to be conservative and another thing is to want everyone to think like me” 2024-07-12 07:35:22

This Tuesday, in an interview with Encuentro con Julio Villagrán, political analyst Miguel Fortín Magaña pointed out that the current government is made up of “opportunists” because they seek to please whoever is in charge. The same thing happens with respect to the LGBTI agenda, recalling that deputies like Nayib Bukele supported this group, and now these same officials say the opposite.

“Today Mr. Bukele says that he does not agree with the LGBT agenda, and now all the deputies support him, but these same deputies said the opposite two years ago” The political analyst expressed

For the analyst, Nayib Bukele is a dictator and his dictatorship began on February 9, 2020, when he entered the legislative plenary accompanied by the military. In this context, he blamed the opposition for being co-responsible for the installation of a dictatorship in El Salvador.

“Political parties are going through their worst moment, it is civil society that must organize itself… The dictatorship will be consolidated, there will come a day when no one will be able to speak in El Salvador, those who have not been imprisoned will simply have to remain silent.” Fortin Magaña indicated

He also mentioned that the Salvadoran population has not been able to differentiate a dictatorship, emphasizing that the law is what governs a society and no ruler is above it; however, citizens in El Salvador support security, even when it threatens freedom.

“People say that freedom is as safe as it is eaten. That is not the case. One is not a function of the other. The two must coexist. People will have security once morest the gangs, but they will not have security once morest a government that is becoming more and more despotic.” Miguel Fortin Magana pointed out
