Al-Marsad Newspaper: Aqeel Al-Aqeel, a weather analyst at the National Center of Meteorology, said that the Kingdom has not witnessed the current rainy weather for 4 years.
He added during an intervention on Al-Ikhbariya channel: “The rain continues to fall from the eastern to western coasts in addition to the north and the south,” noting that the weather in Riyadh is wonderful, in which the capital, the central regions and Qassim live.
And he continued: The weather is still ready for rain, with high humidity and fog. Temperatures tend to be moderate and will remain throughout the day between 15 and 13 degrees Celsius due to the cloud cover over the capital.
He pointed out that there is a possibility of rain falling on the northern border, Al-Jawf, Tabuk and the western coast, adding: There is a favorable chance for rain to fall on the western coast and the Makkah region, which includes Jeddah.
And he continued: In the southern region, the fog will be more than the rain, especially in Abha, the Asir region and Baljurashi. As for Taif, heavy rain is expected, as well as Al-Baha.
Regarding the date of the end of the rains, he concluded: According to preliminary indications, the rainy situation will continue until Thursday, and the National Center will issue a detailed report on it soon.
