Honor has presented its new high-end mobile phone at the Mobile World Congressthe Honor Magic 4 Pro, a phone, which still carries some design vestiges of Huawei, even though the companies parted ways last year. However, it comes loaded with technology and features never seen before.

The Honor Magic 4 Pro, in its configuration of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, will be priced at 1,099 euros and is expected to hit stores sometime in May. The design is characterized by a large circle in the middle of the rear area finished in glass, which far from hiding the cameras, highlights them.

It is named by Honor as ‘the eye of the muse, where the three objectives and the two sensors that the terminal equips are framed. This makes the ‘gadget’ hardly go unnoticed, while most manufacturers go to great lengths to integrate the cameras into the whole phone, Honor has preferred to highlight the objectives until practically the only thing visible in the rear. The colors are the ones that will come out, they will be cyan, gold, black, white and orange.

At the front we find a 6.81-inch LTPO four-sided curved screen, 120Hz refresh rate, 2848×1312 pixel resolution or 460 PPP, and 1,000 nits brightness. Thanks to LTPO technology with ‘Motion sync’, the screen adapts to your movement speed to save battery life, for example, when reading an article the refresh rate would go down automatically, and when running a game it would go up.

In addition, Honor has included several innovations to improve the screen experience, for example, moving images from SDR to HDR +, or offsetting videos from 30 FPS to 60 FPS to achieve a much smoother result. In addition, it is the dimming of the screen occurs at 1,920 Hz, to help the view.

As for the camera, supported by computational photography, we have three lenses, a 50-megapixel main one, made up of 7 layers of lenses, 1/1.56, a 122-degree wide angle, 1/2.2, with the possibility of macro at 2.5 centimeters, and a 64-megapixel periscope lens, 1/2, 3.5x optical and 100x digital zoom, and OIS and EIS stabilization.

Honor has added a fusion photo mode using all three lenses at the same time to gain definition, for example, to correct the distortion of the wide angle, improving the quality of the images by 65%, or combining the periscope with the main camera to improve the result up to 160%.

The front camera is made up of a 3D depth sensing and a 12 megapixel camera with 100 degrees of amplitude for the selfie. The depth sensor together with the dedicated processor for security Security is in charge of controlling image recognition and Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for unlocking. At commitment to the security and privacy of Honor, the Magic 4 Pro It has a functionality that isolates the sound of calls and prevents them from being heard.

We cannot forget the video, being the first phone that is capable of generating 10-bit logs in 4K resolution and 60 FPS. Inside, Honor has installed a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processorthe latest and most powerful CPU from Qualcomm, capable of achieving 6.4 FPS more in Bridged game and 2 degrees cooler following 30 minutes of play than iPhone 13 Pro. Both wired and wireless charging is 100W which means that it can go from 50% in 15 minutes.
