Through his official account on X, former president Álvaro Uribe Vélez cited a curious video that has gone viral on social networks. This material, as a joke, summarizes an alleged plot behind the incident that Cilia Flores, wife of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, experienced during her speech at the commemoration of Labor Day.

“We are looking for the dentist who worked on Cilita’s prosthesis. We already have several audios that we will show to the country. We know that it is the extreme right that modified the iron (dental prosthesis) to create anxiety in the population,” the audio says.

Then, he continues mentioning the alleged perpetrators: “Involved and already identified are the Colombian former president Álvaro Uribe, Leopoldo López, the singer Bad Bunny, and the main leader of this gang, identified as ‘el Dientón’ with the last name Suárez, a soccer player.” .

Well, the former president took the matter with humor and went along with it.

“These bandits like the ones here always seek to involve me in crimes. Cowards and ostentatious,” commented former President Uribe.

This was the ‘Cilita’ incident

On May 1, while giving a speech as part of the commemoration of Labor Day, the first lady of Venezuela experienced an embarrassing moment that did not go unnoticed by the cameras, as the event was broadcast on national television.

While giving her speech, Cilia Flores’s dental prosthesis almost fell out of her mouth. The first lady reacted quickly and covered herself with her left hand, preventing the false piece from ending up on the floor.

After what happened, Flores said: “I was eating a piece of gum.” Immediately followingwards, Maduro intervened in the event and – trying to minimize what had happened to his wife – noted: “Cilita bit herself, she is chewing gum.”
