The leader of the Civic Coalition, Elisa “Lilita” Carrioshared a cryptic video with a prayer. “He who has to repent should repent”he expressed.
“I am in the temple, which can be any temple, where God is heard. In Argentina, we and the world only have two things left: repentance and faith, ”said Carrió, in a video that he shared on his Twitter account.
And continued: “Try to pray the prayer of the country and whoever has to repent should repent. Because by the holy cross, the world is redeemed. Amen”.
Carrió is concerned regarding the political and economic situation in the country, as she was able to reconstruct THE NATION from nearby sources. That’s why she recorded this video. In the last public appearance, the leader of the Civic Coalition had asked the referents and allies of the opposition and the ruling party for caution, because the situation “is very delicate.”
The former deputy believes that the country is going through a fragile stagebetween inflation and the internal political dispute between Alberto Fernández and Cristina Kirchner.
Carrió closed tonight at the Hannah Arendt Cultural and Political Training Institute, a talk with Hernán Lombardi and Mario Quintana, then had dinner. The meeting is part of the closing of a course on freedom, the republic and democracy.
Two weeks ago, Carrió shared his opinion on the situation in the country. In a interview with LN+the former deputy warned: “We are going to a terrible time: I cannot fool you. I came to tell the truth and I’m retiring.”
Faced with the effects of the inmate on the ruling party, he considered that it is “an irremediable combo, formed by disintegration”. “They are opening all fronts at the same time, and what they need is stability on the front to build trust, so that they renew it,” she analyzed. And he specified: “They are already using lace from the dollars that are in the banks.”
On the other hand, he said that August is “key due to the maturity date” of the debt. “In general, the bottleneck is in September, but society anticipates”, he raised. And he continued: “What the whole country knows is that there are no more dollars, and the confidence to renew debt in pesos is over.”
“The substance is legitimacy,” said Carrió, referring to the economy and politics. In this sense, he observed that Alberto Fernández “has 17% approval”“is in free fall and has no agreements with governors.”
“Today there is no President of the Republic”, said the opposition referent. “He doesn’t get a measure right, and he doesn’t confront the measures that should be done,” she added.
