The Crown Prince reveals the details of what happened at the “Ritz-Carlton”: “We gave them two options.”

His Highness, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, confirmed that what happened at the “Ritz-Carlton” was not an arrest. Rather, two options were given to the characters who were admitted to the famous hotel.

The Crown Prince made it clear, during an interview with the American “Atlantic” magazine, that the first option was to treat them, completely according to the law, and therefore the Public Prosecution will prepare the indictment.

As for the second option for these people, they were asked if they wanted to take the path of negotiations, and 95% of them chose the path of negotiations, so they were not criminals, and they might not be imprisoned.

The Crown Prince indicated, during his speech to the American magazine, that these personalities had agreed to stay at the Ritz-Carlton; to conduct and end negotiations.

His Highness added, “I believe that 90% of the negotiations have ended, and the rest, who refused to negotiate, were referred to the Public Prosecution in accordance with Saudi law, and a good percentage turned out to be innocent, whether through negotiations or in the courts.”

In response to the interviewer’s question, the Crown Prince said that the purpose of the Ritz-Carlton was to get rid of the competitors, saying: “If you mean to get rid of the competitors by placing them in the Ritz-Carlton, they originally do not exist, so how can I get rid of people who have no authority in the first place in this way.”
