Doha – Qatar has given a strong response to allegations that expatriate workers are paid to make them fans of the World Cup. FIFA World Cup Qatar CEO Nasser Al Khader stated that the news of some English and French media is completely false and is part of hate campaigns once morest Qatar.
The campaigns question Qatar’s ability to host and defame the country. So far 31 lakh tickets have been sold for the World Cup. It is absolutely disgraceful to belittle those who watch matches and call them mercenaries. Al Khader also said that the people of Qatar are very fond of football.
