D’First, there is this terrifying figure: 1.6 million children and adolescents in France suffering from psychiatric disorders (anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, schizophrenia, etc.) Then an observation, like a anomaly: only 750,000 to 850,000 of these young people benefit from an adapted care offer. Where are the others ? What are the consequences for their mental health? And how did we get here? This is what the Court of Auditors questions in a scathing report presented yesterday by its first president, Pierre Moscovici.
