while still Kazakhstan Plunging into chaos and tension following violent protests swept the country, the spotlight was shed on the country’s rich, including Aliya Nazarbayev, the daughter of former President Nursultan Nazarbayev, and her outrageous fortune, which she apparently enjoyed abroad.
Alia recently transferred to the British capital, London, 300 million dollars of her personal wealth, according to what British media revealed.

The former president’s daughter instructed two professional financial advisors to buy luxury homes, a private bank and a luxury plane following funneling money into a complex network of companies stretching from Liechtenstein to the British Virgin Islands, the British newspaper “Telegraph” reported.
Her purchases also included a $25 million Challenger Bombardier private jet and a £8.75 million home in Highgate, north London.

Those startling spending details only surfaced when Nazarbayev’s daughter fell out with two financial advisors, accusing them of dishonesty, misappropriation of funds, conspiracy to fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and illicit enrichment, according to the Telegraph.

The woman sued in 2016 once morest financial advisors at the High Court in London for £165m before the case was settled in a confidentiality agreement.
Its advisers, who were described as reputable and respected financial professionals, denied all these allegations.
In contrast, legal documents indicated that Alia claimed to have moved $312 million of her personal wealth out of the country, following her financial advisors told her that it would be dangerous to keep her fortune there, and that she would have to hide or disguise her wealth in a network of tax havens and trusts.

Documents submitted to the High Court in London also included allegations that Malik Ishmuratov, a Kazakh wealth manager, “told Nazarbayev on numerous occasions that she was a prominent political figure and that it was dangerous for her to keep her assets in Kazakhstan”.
Until recently, Nazarbayev was best known for modeling Damiani jewelry, promoting her own haute couture brand, owning an upscale beauty spa in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city, and heading a contracting company.

She often publishes on her Instagram account pictures of her with her father, who, until his fall, was promoting himself among his people as “the father of the nation”.
Meanwhile, her older sister, Darija, is known to have £80 million worth of property in London.
It is reported that Alia is the youngest daughter of Nursultan Nazarbayev, who was President of Kazakhstan for 28 years until 2019, but still controversially retains much of his power!
