The statement pointed out that “the expatriates must register on the electronic platform of the Ministry of Public Health for expatriates https://PASS.MOPH.GOV.LB, and pay the cost of the PCR test on the mentioned platform according to a new mechanism that adopts one of two options: a credit card or an electronic document. EMD is obtained by passengers by paying at one of the approved travel and tourism offices or in the sales offices of the airline, provided that the passengers deliver the EMD receipt to representatives of the Ministry of Public Health upon their arrival at the airport.

The Ministry was keen to confirm that “its platform guarantees the requirements of protection and security for data confidentiality in accordance with international standards according to which continuous penetration tests and checks are conducted, and that personal data is encrypted and stored in a secure manner and cannot be viewed by the public, and is used only in the event that the person concerned is infected.
