Intel’s next showcase, the Core i9-13900KF has been tested. This “F” version does not have a graphic part. Clearly there is no active iGPU.
Tested by @ExtremePlayer, this CPU is most likely an engineering sample. This type of pre-production reference does not generally offer quite the same benefits as the final products. The exercise consisted in discovering its potential in overclocking.
Its cooling was entrusted to a liquid cooling solution. This is a local loop and not an AIO type closed circuit. The objective was to ensure a muscular cooling allowing to push the frequency of the beast by having a certain margin of maneuver. According to these tests, this cooling solution allowed stable overclocking at 6.18 GHz. The CPU-Z utility announces this frequency for the 8 P-Cores once morest 4.69 GHz for the 16 E-Cores.
Intel will normally launch its Raptor Lake-S processors next October while the official presentation is scheduled for the end of September. This 13th generation Core will face AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series also planned for this date.
