The 2024 edition of the Copa America will take place in the United States, as part of a partnership between the two major football confederations of the Americas, Concacaf announced on Friday.
Sixteen teams will take part in the tournament: ten nations dependent on the South American Confederation (Conmebol) and six on the Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean, said Concacaf.
After 2016, where the “centenary” edition of the Copa America took place, the United States will host the event for the second time.
